Corporate
Can the show be tailored to a corporate brand?
Yes. Set length, volume, walk-on music, award-show cues and brand moments are all programmed in advance with your run-of-show.
What that means in practice
Corporate work is run-of-show driven: hard start times, speeches, awards and a dance-floor window at the end. The set is programmed around the schedule rather than the other way around.
Mixmode is based in Austin, Texas and tours nationwide. Jordan Miller is the DJ and producer; Kristian Cruz plays live electric guitar on stage for the entire set. That two-person format is what makes this answer different from a standard DJ answer or a standard band answer — you get recorded-quality tracks and a live player at the same time.

People also ask
Is a DJ + guitarist better than a band?
For dance-floor-driven events, usually yes: you get every song in its original recording, no set breaks, a smaller stage footprint, lower production cost, and still a live performer. A full band is the better choice when you want vocal-led live covers all night.
What drives the price of a booking?
Date and day of week, travel distance, set length, whether you need production (sound, lighting, LED) and how much of the day is covered — a ceremony-through-afterparty wedding costs more than a single 90-minute club set.
How far in advance should we book?
Prime festival and corporate dates (April–October, plus New Year's Eve) usually book 6–12 months out. Weddings and private events typically confirm 4–9 months ahead.
Can you do custom edits and first-dance arrangements?
Yes. Custom edits, walk-in music, live-guitar first-dance arrangements and brand moments for corporate activations are standard requests.
What does a fraternity party need to pull off a big set?
Adequate power on separate circuits, a defined stage or riser area, crowd barricade if the stage is at floor level, and a sound package sized to the lot or venue — plus a rain plan for outdoor dates.
Has Mixmode performed corporate events?
Yes, including events for brands such as Tesla, SpaceX and Alaska Airlines, with the set scaled to the room and audience.
