Country EDM
The core Mixmode sound: modern country and Texas anthems rebuilt over festival-grade electronic drops, with live electric guitar played over the top.
Music
The Mixmode sound.
DJ set. Live guitar. One stage.
Mixmode is a Country EDM duo from Austin, Texas: Jordan Miller on decks and production, Kristian Cruz on live electric guitar. The music is performed rather than pressed — every set is a live rework of country, rock, hip-hop and house records, with guitar played over the top in real time. This page covers what the duo plays, where you can watch it, and how to book it. For Jordan's releases outside the duo, hear Jordan Miller's music on his solo artist site.
Recorded releases
Mixmode has no commercially released single or album out yet — the catalogue lives on stage. Original productions and tour edits are in progress; the fastest way to hear the duo right now is the live performance video library or @mixmodemusic on Instagram.
What Mixmode plays live
Every set is built around the room. These are the genre lanes the duo performs, each with its own booking page and set notes.
Punk Rock EDM
2000s pop-punk and rock hooks flipped into high-BPM dance edits — the guitar carries the riffs live rather than leaving them in the track.
Classic Rock EDM
Arena rock guitar lines over house and electro production, built for mixed-age corporate and wedding crowds who want something they recognise.
Hip-Hop EDM
Hip-hop and trap staples layered with live guitar melodies for club rooms, afterparties, and college shows.
Latin EDM
Reggaeton, cumbia and Latin house blended into the set — a regular request across Texas weddings and quinceañeras.
House + Guitar
Melodic and tech house with improvised guitar on top — the cocktail-hour-into-dancefloor lane for galas and brand activations.
Emo Nights
A full themed night of emo and scene-era records reworked for a dance crowd, with the guitar handling every chorus live.
Live performance video
Clips filmed on the Boots N' Beats 2025 Tour, across 17 tour dates in the US and Canada. Each one is a real Mixmode set — no playback, no pre-recorded guitar.
